Who Should Attend.

This course is suitable for operators of all skill levels. 

• Complete novice's
• Those with operating experience but have not recieved any formal training
• Those requiring their 3 yearly refresher / licence renewal.

Learning Objectives.

• To ensure operators are made aware of the known dangers whilst operating these machines. 
• Enure operators have all the required theoretical knowledge.
• Train and instill all the correct operational procedures to ensure the machine is operated safely and efficently.
• Ensure delegates are operating to accepted standards through theoretical and operational tests.
• Ensure operators can perform a thorough pre-use safety check of the machine.

Course Content.

• Theoretical presentation & discussion
• Progressive practical sessions where operators learn all the basic skills including steering, braking, reversing, elevating and lowering from various positions.
• Practical session covering the essential pre-use machine safety check.

Testing.

• Written theoretical test
• Practical test of pre-use check
• Practical operational test

Certification

Upon sucessful completion, candidates will be entered onto the AITT national register (ACORNS). This allows independent verification of qualification. They also recieve;

• Standard A4 size certificate
• Digital copy of the certificate
• Plastic, credit card size photo ID card
